Since earning my law degree I’ve gained more than thirty years of experience in the IP field. I began my career as an examiner at
the Norwegian IP office. Ten years later I joined the IP department of a multinational manufacturing company handling all kinds of IP challenges around the world. These formative years has given me valuable insights into how intellectual property can be both a shield and a tool for growth, protecting innovation while unlocking its commercial potential.
Today, I am based in Sweden and run my own IP firm, Marelin. I work closely with small and medium-sized businesses, helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality and guiding companies through disputes that threaten their survival. Through the Pro Bono support program, they can access professional guidance without the burden of heavy fees.
Looking ahead, I believe the Pro Bono support will help more businesses recognize IP not only as a legal protection, but also as a strategic resource. In time this will strengthen both individual businesses and the entire innovation community. I’m proud to play a part in that development.
