BreedingValue invites the European breeding and plant research communities to a hybrid workshop to establish a common understanding of the regulatory framework for intellectual property (IP) management of new pre-breeding material. 

During this workshop, high-level representatives of the European Cooperative Programme for Plant Genetic Resources (ECPGR), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) and the European Commission (EU) will share their views on the current international regulatory framework and its consequences for IP management of pre-breeding material. 

European research projects focusing on Genetic Resources (GenRes) will share their views on the  IP landscape in their respective fields.
