The WIDERA Work Programme 2026–2027, adopted on 11 December 2025, will be presented at an info day organised by the European Commission in cooperation with the Research Executive Agency (REA) and the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA).

The event will inform potential applicants about the calls under the destination “Widening participation and spreading excellence,” which aims to reduce the EU research and innovation gap and strengthen a cohesive R&I ecosystem, in line with the Pact for Research and Innovation. Topics include Teaming Synergies, Twinning, Hop-on Facility, Research Management Facility, ERA Fellowships, ERA Chairs and Research Managers, EIC Pre-Accelerator, and Excellence Hubs. The first calls will open in January 2026.

European Commission and executive agency representatives will present key novelties and answer participants’ questions.
