The Regional Development Agency (RDA) was established on the 1st of April 1993, with the aim of providing technical and expert assistance in the preparation and implementation of projects of the municipal association of towns and municipalities of Nisa Euroregion. At present, Liberec Region is a 100 % owner of the company. Since mid-2017, RDA has been an "inhouse company" of Liberec Region. All the activities focus on the benefit of the region, its inhabitants, economic entities and institutions. The agency has never been subsidised in the whole 25 years of its operation. RDA is based in the European House located in the very centre of Liberec, just next to the Regional Office of Liberec Region and since 2020, it has expanded to include the newly renovated D Building behind the European House. Liberec business incubator called Lipo.ink which falls within the agency´s authority has founded its state-of-the-art headquarters there. D Building also houses innovative companies cooperating with Lipo.ink and a new contemporary coworking centre.
