At trade fairs, companies present their products, novelties, prototypes and new designs and brands, and are therefore exposed to possible copying and infringement of industrial property rights. The Spanish Patent and Trade mark Office, O.A. (SPTO), in collaboration with the Spanish Trade Fair Association (AFE), has produced this guide to inform exhibiting companies about the basic guidelines they can follow before and during their participation in the different Spanish trade fairs.
