It falls under an awareness campaign launched in 2017 to inform the public about IP Rights infringements and the harm it can cause to the economy, employment and human health. The campaign was launched by the Patent Office of the Republic of Latvia together with the Ministry of Justice, the National Customs Board of the State Revenue Service, the State Police of Latvia and the Consumer Rights Protection Centre.
